Why and when did you get involved in archery?

I wanted to retire from pistol shooting which I completed in for 12 years, but I wasn't ready to retire from sport.  It was at the Beijing Games 2008 that I was introduced to archery after a Para Archery Team member invited me to watch them compete. The transition was easy. My goal for 2009 was to make the national team.

Hours of practice per week: currently 15-20 hrs

Archery Goals:

Short Term Goals: Become more consistent with scores each year & shoot 680/720 in 2016

Long Term Goals: Win a Paralympic Games medal

Previous National Team Member: National Para Team member since 2009

MajorCanadianTournamentResults:  Because I’m the only para compound female in Canada,  I win gold at every tournament which has a Para component.
