2012 Para-Archery Major International Competitions List
15 December 2011
2012 MAJOR INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS LIST: PARA-ARCHERY
Listed below are the 2012 major international outdoor competitions, known at this time for the 2012 outdoor season.
Some of the tournaments listed are ‘able-bodied’ competitions. Para-archers (compound and recurve) are welcome to shoot 70 metres alongside ‘able-bodied’ recurve archers. However, if entries from ‘able-bodied’ recurve archers are full then para-archers will in all likelihood have to shoot 50 metres alongside the ‘able-bodied’ compound archers. In such cases, scores will unfortunately not count towards ranking because ranking is based on 70 metre scores for para-archers (compound and recurve).
Archery Canada is awaiting confirmation of other major international para-archery competitions. Therefore, this list may change in the coming weeks and months.
